If you can pull it off, I would suggest working part time and going to school too. This will open a lot of doors and hopefully allow you to find a job you enjoy.

If there is a possible way (financially)-- go back to school and finish your degree. If it is possible for you to work part time and go back to school this will by far benefit your son more in the future than you staying at a job that you hate! He will see your unhappiness! Go to school and be an example to him as to the importance of education. You will get a better job, better pay, better benefits-- so it will be good for you both!!

Go back to school a person on an average is going to work about 40 - 50 years of their life, by going back to school you have increased your chances of finding a job you really like, being able to stick with doing the job for a really long time and possibly being able to retire when you want to and not when you can afford to if ever. A lot to consider. bottom line anyone can work like a dog all their life, but people with degrees can choose where, when and how long. Good Luck

the fact that you have a kid unfortunately complicates your situation. You don't have to go to school full time- especially if you're going to be too overwhelmed and are going to end up not doing so good. I would recommend you go to school part time- and try to work somewhere between part time and full time.. for example: around 30 hrs.
That should give you money to take care of him- but at the same time- continuing your education.
but definitely- you should go back to school and finish what you started. You'll have a more secure future for you and the kid.
good luck..
and keep your head up

Well you first have to look at your financial situation and see if you can work part time, child care etc. Maybe you should try some of the online schools that way you can work still get a degree and then when you do kiss your old job good bye!!

Go to School part-time and work part-time, get a sitter for your son or put him in daycare. Choose a career that you like and study for that career. Or if you like children get a course on CPR and work in a daycare.
