Because Fox News won't allow the dem's to plant questioners as their liberal channel buddies allowed! On the other hand, the fact the Republicans would go to the liberal channels for a debate and be forced to endure planted/obviously slanted questions shows the Republicans can answer the tough questions!

WHY IS NOBODY ANSWERING THIS QUESTION WITH THE REAL ANSWER INSTEAD OF BRINGING THE REPBUBLICANS INTO IT???????????????????

The truth is, the Democratic Presidential candidates are refusing to cross the WGA strike picket lines. Get lives, get clues and get educations, PLEASE, all you Republican bashers.

EDIT: No, it's this Curio below me that you have to allow for. I'm giving the actual reason why the Democrats aren't having debates. If you don't like the answer, don't ask the question. I'll stipulate that some of the Dem candidates are probably pretty shaky about debating in front of a heavily Republican audience, but facts are facts, and the fact is, the Dems announced last week that they weren't interested in crossing the Writers Guild's picket line, and they gave the REASON of solidarity, but the real reason is they know they're going to screw up their organized labor voter base if they cross a strike picket line.

If FOX 'information' became into information you've a factor, yet FOX is purely yet another propaganda outlet for the reactionaries of the present GOP. no one, fairly the non-existant 'liberal' strawman, has pronounced that 'patriotism' has something to do with redistributing earnings or handing out 'entitlements'. extra beneficial, 'helping 'usa' skill helping our shape and concepts, no longer helping improper polices. by using now you've observed that fewer than 2/3 of the U. S. public backs the Bush administration...there's a reason for that....the GOP made fairly some unrealistic and unworkable supplies you to get elected. because it became out the Bush administration became into no longer purely incompetent to handle actual issues it even denied such issues existed. electorate, as unwell pronounced as they are, by using FOX specially and the media ordinarily, are not stupid. They predicted effects and have been given zip. The Bush Junta proved from Day 0ne that they that they had no clue no count how lots FOX tried to pump those adult men up! petrified of FOX? No....purely no longer fascinated in legitimizing a propaganda and disinformation gadget of the discreditied precise.

They were afraid of tough questions. CNN softballs the Democrats.

I like Fox because they show both sides of the issue (and I don't always agree with Fox). CNN lets Hitlery slide on things like they never happened. One of the only decent people on CNN is Lou Dobbs!

The dems wouldn't, because that would be acknowledging Fox as a legitimate news organization.. which they are, as the ratings prove... but beyond their control, like Matthews, Blitzer, Russett, et al are. No assurance of softballs from Fox -- so they won't play ball.

Evil does as evil thinks. They figured Fox would ambush their candidates as they did in the CNN repub debates, what a waste, but hats off to them for pulling it off. take care.

Because Fox news isn't a news outlet. It's a propaganda agency for the GOP. All you'd get from them is a hatchet job.

it's also a bloody awful place to get any information and the laughing stock of serious journalists worldwide.

To be fair, CNN is pretty lame, too.

They only say they are about fairness. Their actions show differently. The Dems do not have a monopoly in the media anymore and they will not use any source that they do not control. The truth might get out and then there goal to make this country a socialist nation will fail. Have a good day Comrade.
