Are you an edge or a middle person?
I think someone should come up with a way to match middle people with end people so we could always have the pieces we like.
Also Nuts or no nuts? On top or baked in?
Personally edges only (we fight over corners), Nuts, baked in.

I will share a funny brownie story with you. We were in a weapons of mass destruction training exercises one day last June. The 'Spirit of America" was participating, it is a mobile kitchen that can feed 30,000 people per day during disasters. They made brownies! They smelled so good too I got a couple to go before I went out in the field. Unfortunately, the edges were not edible, actually, you couldn't even break them if you hit them on something. couldn't snap them, nothing, so I ate what I could, and put these hard edges in my purse for later disposal so I wouldn't littler. I sent someone to get something from my purse, she wanted to know why I had cat turds in my purse!! I didn't want to embarrass anyone either, so I just chuckled about it,

I too am an edge person with baked in nuts. Thank goodness my husband is a middle person and also likes baked in nuts. We have no problems making a pan of brownies disappear in record time.

I'm a middle person, and my husband was an edge person. He would actually cut all around the edge about 1/2 inch from the pan, and just eat the edges.
We were a perfect match!

Any part of the brownie as long as it is soft and chewy, other wise the middle. I like the nuts baked in as long as they are small, other wise on top.

Thanks for bring up brownies, now you have made me hungry for brownies. So I am going to make some, any body want any?

The nice moist middle piece with nuts baked in -- but will accept any other variety without question.

I'm with you the edges. Makes no difference about nuts with or without.

Deep dark brownies, rich and moist, slightly chewy...no nuts, no frosting.

Corners and crispy with coffee....middle with cold milk.

Fortunately, I live alone so can enjoy the best of all brownie worlds.
