i was on the high way a good 2 hours before it started..my alignment was great before...it only pulls when i step on the gas.. everything was good until the end of the trip...?would it be safe for me to drive another 170 miles back home to get it fixed??

Yes, it could be a frozen caliper. Or it could be that your c.v. is completely broken in two. Then you feel the pull when you accelerate because only one side is turning. If that were the case, I seriously don't think it would be drivable in the first place. If you're inclined, pull the wheel off and spray some wd-40 on the brake pistons. JUST A LITTLE! Don't spray the pads! Then try to them in with a pry bar or large screw driver.

depends on how bad it pulls. sounds like a worn ball joint or control arm bushing. maybe have a shop take a look at the front end b4 going back.
