i read somewhere recently that water intake is a little over-rated.
We are, by fact, around 60 percent water but recent research has shown that we dont need the 2 or 3 litres a day suggested for so many years.
They even said, that coffee and tea can contribute very handsomely towards the daily intake..... even though its a dieuretic.
Water is essential but not quite as much as was always recommended.
Plenty of clear fluids will improve skin and removal of toxins but its finding the right type of water.
Definately not purified water, a good mineral water is the job.

The water is an excellent solvent. Given that almost every substance is a mixture in human body/animals/plants, almost every food/drink is a mixture; the biological importance of water is huge. No water --> no life.

Let's see.... Just a few weeks ago there was a huge argument between Alabama, Georgia and Florida about water because of drought in that area. Atlanta's population is expanding rapidly and more and more water is needed for everything.

We have to have it to live. Our animals and plants that we eat have to have it to live. We clean with it. Water vapor protects us from the sun.
And as a side note, we as a species are destroying it. Therefore we are destroying ourselves.

We need water in order to survive, we need it to help the plants and flowers grow, and we need water when we cook or to clean with.
