This may sound extreme, even apocalyptic, until one considers:

The Army is breaking and is too small to meet America's global commitments.

The dollar has sunk to historic lows and is being abandoned by foreign governments.

The greatest invasion in history, from the Third World, is swamping the ethno-cultural core of the country, leading to Balkanization and the loss of the Southwest to Mexico.

The culture is collapsing and the nation is being deconstructed along the lines of race and class.

A fiscal crisis looms as the unfunded mandates of Social Security and Medicare remain unaddressed ... and all of these crises are hitting America at once.

What say you?

Actually it does not. Think of how many good things are called bad and bad things condoned or called good. I've read that when Israel pulled out of Gaza we where hit with Katrina and then when, and I mean the ex tact date on both, the last people pulled out of the West Bank settlements Rita slammed into Texas. Now Condi and George are back on the road map. Never saw so many articles and books on the subject. Didn't the market fall like 300 points the other day?

These are pretty strange times and I have felt that our leaders are like in a trance. I don't think the country will totally roll over, but you make good points. If you overload a boat she will roll over. Looks rather gloomy for SS. Mexico has been apart of America since she was formed, but I don't understand with their strict immigration policies why they would let so many people cross over into America, you would think they would be stabbing themselves in the back. All the people from all over are entering there. Like 1 in 7 is from a terror sponsoring country, not that that means they are a terrorist, but look at how far they travel and then are allowed in Mexico. How can the Mexican government not know they are entering there and they coming here. Makes you wonder about everything and great question. Star. Take care.

I agree with so many here. As soon as we get rid of this loser Congress that has been hampering every move in an effort to beat the Republicans out for the WH, everything will be back to business as usual.

I remain optimistic and even more so now that Hillary's numbers are taking a plunge. I could never explain what a relief it was to see that...

Great question and valid points, however.

The main reason we are seeing financial, cultural and moral declination in the U.S. is due to the rest of the world perceiving us as vulnerable. They consider us a house divided, with too much emphasis on political correctness and all the in-fighting along party lines. Instead of standing united as a capitalist country we are beginning to transform into one embracing socialist values. This makes the U.S. no different than most of the others throughout the world.
Our president is brow-beaten at every turn on the homefront only because politics take precence over what is best for the country. This is unheard of in a time of war. Even when he makes concessions to a congress dictated to by left-wing groups he is seen as wrong. The election of a democrat president will give them a mandate to make the transition to a less-traditional society. The socialist model will stress larger government (more agencies/bureacracy), sizing down of our national defense, untold billions in new taxes allocated to welfare programs and a greater influx of unchecked, illegal immigrants.
YOU AINT' SEEN NOTHIN' YET!
TO PANDA: A reality check is in order for you as well. I am not praising Bush. He has failed to secure our borders and done next to nothing to even the trade deficit. What you have to understand is that he has put up with a congress that does nothing more than attack him at every turn. It is congress that controls the budget through the power of financial committees. They have yet to propose any legislation other than pork projects and increased taxation to create an even larger welfare state. Smell the coffee and dump the kool-aid!

Every large empire in history has fallen after a few hundred years.

The only other attempt at a democratic republic empire fell for these reasons:

1. The citizens lose their taste for the warlike tendencies that made building their country and protecting its borders possible.

2. The politicians start draining the treasury for their friends. The methods were different but the money is still funneled out.

3. The same politicians allow parts of the empire, those they consider less important, places they would never want to live, to be settled by people who later turn out to be enemy invaders.

The barbarian tribes were really always enemies and invaders, but the gutless politicians don't dare call them by that title and start a war, within the borders of their country as those aren't as profitable as foreign wars.

Any of that sound familliar?

a million out of each 4 Christians interior the worldwide are Catholic. however the Catholic Church has replaced by using the years, in simple terms like the numbers have. some Catholic church homes are previous vogue, and a few are greater modern and lenient. it fairly is why maximum folk brake off into Protestant church homes. As for the "no faith" human beings, some individuals that have faith in God % to no longer call it a "faith". have you ever heard the saying "Jesus is my savior. no longer my faith." It incredibly plenty potential worship God the way the bible says to, no longer the way guy-made religious communities enable you comprehend to. As for the atheist, greater each physique is transforming into too sensible, and thinking technology is the main to each thing.

Thanks for stating it so well Bubba. For the first time, our dollar is worth the same as the Canadian dollar. Louy Lefty has provided us with a link that gives us an excellent analysis of what is going on around us. It is happening fast. Thank you Warrior Peasant for stating what is obvious but so ignored by our leaders. Dan, your hero is leading the charge on the the transformation of the United States into Mexico. Please open your eyes.

If the US was in decline that could be possible, but it is not and never will be, we could easily face a depression if the next president fails to follow the cut taxes/raise revenue policies.
