They "punish" everyone that doesn't see things their way. I believe it's called an, "Adult Temper Tantrum".
They boycotted Florida for doing the same thing. You gotta see the Reps. wining and dining us!

I think the whole primary system is totally lame.
Why does Iowa and New Hampshire get to decide what choices I have in candidates? If someone I like loses in these states, they aren't even on the ballots in my state.
I know this used to be to balance out the power of the small insignificant states against the larger ones but with technology, why not just have a national primary, just like we have a national election.

Do a bit of research and you'll see the the Republicans have done the same to states that have violated their rules also...Florida is one state that got half of it's delegates stripped by the Reps.
They both need to do something. It's the 2008 election and we're close to having them at the end of 2007. Sooner ISN'T always better.

I think that democrats might be punishing themselves.
What would you do if you were a resident, and one political party decided to pick up tents and move and ignore you during an election? Wouldn't you be tempted to look at the other side?
(Michigan has been trending independent for a long time, as has Wisconsin. The vast majority of people there are not loyal to either party.)

The Dems are entitled to have their rules and to punish members who violate their rules just like any other organization.
I wonder why the Republican party has not pressured Mr. Wide Stance airport bathroom boy out of their party. Who would want a hypocrite like that?

Who really cares about delegates to the national convention, conventions are just an excuse to party doing alcohol, drugs, and illicit sex.

Because not realizing that they will never be ready, they felt they weren't ready.
I say that maybe Michigan is leading the nation in sending them a message that they have been seen through and will not be tolerated. :o)

The Democrats follow the old adage, do as we say not as we do, if you fail to do that you will be punished.
