Do you think Rihanna nude in the chrome paint was an artistic impression or just a publicity ploy for more attention?

I think it was more of the artistic blah blah,
the scene add more drama up,
and made the sexiness to the highest level for the male viewers (i think),
and in what way you could better express pouring rain artistically than being nude lol
and beside rihanna doesn't need that much of a publicity, her songs are playing everywhere

I actually think both,I think Artistically when they devised the video they thought that scene would fit in well and would have a sort of 'arty' creative feel to it,but also as it was her lead single for her album they wanted to make it a hit,so by doing that it kind of encourages media attention which is what they most likely wanted.

It could be either. Artistes do a lot of things to get attention so that their record sell and also a lot a them do it to break out of the stereotypical view of them as an artiste, like Rihanna.A lot of persons were comparing her to Beyonce so to show persons that she's not like her, she did a dramatic hair cut and changed the colour of her hair and dressed differently and even has a different style to her music. Well that's my two cents.
