I had the depro injection in july and it ran out in october but I have still not had my period. I was also wondering if you can get pregnant straight away as i have had unprotected sex and was wondering if I may be pregnant.

It can take up to and over a year to get your periods back. Mine came back after three months because I started the pill right away.

But this is normal.

You could be pregnant.

Odd that I would try to answer this but based on what I have heard my girlfriend say the depro shot lasts different times for different people. I believe your period is now out of whack timewise and maybe its late just because its not time yet. The depro shot is very affective and as long as its still working you are fine if its not working you may be pregnant. Going off a no period to judge this is hard because it may or may not be related to the depro since it has been 3 months. Go get another shot, if you cant afford it go to a free clinic. A little secret, if you go to a medical marijuana clinic usually they also have depro cheap and there is usually no lines.

It can take a few months for your period to come back and sometimes up to a year until you are able to get pregnant. You could also get pregnant the day it runs out. If you go to get a shot and it has run out even if you are one day off they will make you take a pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant. If you had unprotected sex you could be pregnant and should take a test or go to the doctor if you are unsure.

Hiya hun,
I was on the depo for a year, my last injection was in March, and I've still not had a period. My GP told me it takes up to 2 yrs to start ovulating again. I am suffering without periods and my GP said if they haven't returned in a few mnths, they will try to start them again.

It could be taking a while.

Good luck

3 months after my last shot of depo, i had my period. but it could take 6 months to one year for you to conceive. i had been on depo shot for 2 years and i've decided to stop to cleanse my body from the medication.

i've had unprotected sex with my husband all the while i was on depo but i never got pregnant. but there are still risks that you might get pregnant while on it.
