Well, if you wipe the opposite way (back to front) you can cause an infection in your vagina b/c youre pushing fecal matter into it. Nobody wants that. Its cleaner to wipe front to back. If you want to use a different wad of toilet paper for each, then do so. Do what makes you feel clean and comfortable.

i wipe my vagina front to back then i get another piece of tissue and wipe my anus. I just think if you use the same tissue in what you wipe your vagina with and when you wipe your anus the germs is back on your anus. To be extra careful i just used different pieces of tissues.

I agree with Joseph you should always wipe front to back alot of contaminents in fecal matter meaning crap. No need for seperate kinds of paper would recommend a decent toilet paper that doesn't feel like sandpaper.

From Vagina to anus is the recommended way, no need for two different tissues but....everyone should do what is best for her.

The reason for this is that because women have such short urethrae, it doesn't take very much time for fecal bacteria to cause a urinary tract infection
