Guilty of neglecting their children, yes. I don't know about anything else though, I don't like to jump to conclusions.
There's something about this whole thing that doesn't add up though.

One can only hope that they are innocent, but I don't think that anyone here has the the necessary information regarding the parents knowledge of the whereabouts of their daughter...I will say:

Maddie you are so beautiful...I have only one son; however, had I a daughter...I would have loved to have her be just like you...I can't believe that there are questions regarding where you are...When the people who God sent to protect you failed to do their job...They are now sent (just as Adam and Eve) to live a life of insecurities in theirselves...Who cares about the parents having to "deal with" people thinking they are guilty if they didn't really do it...they did leave you alone and I have to say that my mind can not conceive how anyone would do that...God knows that if I could bring you home safely I would...I think a lot of people have let you down and that you are probably really scared!

Innocent until proven otherwise. I have always defended them for this reason but I agree there is something wrong in the stories and my own suspicions lie on Mr. Murat

They are guilty of neglect, definitely. I don't know about them being guilty when it comes to what happened to Madeleine, and I'm not going to jump to conclusions until I see confirmed evidence which conclusively proves that they are innocent or guilty in that respect.

Poor people. They have been working very hard at making themselves look guilty, and what is more to the point, employing ghastly people like McGuiness and Mitchell who could make anybody look guilty.

I'm not sure about whether they are guilty of harming Maddie in some way but I am certain that it was their actions on that night that caused her disappearance. What kind of parent leaves 3 small children alone, at night, in a foreign country, in an unlocked room to go out for food & drinks with friends?
Cretainly no-one in my circle of friends would ever do that.

Personally I think they are guilty only of poor judgement for leaving their children alone whilst they went out. Let's not forget whatever happened they lost a three year old daughter. If she's still alive I hope paedophiles haven't get her, and she isn't suffering.

Guilty of irresponsible parenting, but not guilty in her disappearance.
