Clear bird feeder that sticks to your window. you can sit in your house and enjoy watching them eat right from your living room. Really nice gift

Tickets to a theater production/concert/sporting event

Vienna Chimes

Sign them up for dance classes or cooking together

Night of Wine tasting

Outdoor Firepit

His and Her Bathrobes

A digital picture frame complete with every picture they have ever taken over Christmas

His/Her Body Massage

Magazine subscriptions for a year

Gift Card for gas

Take them out for dinner and then drive around looking at Christmas lights complete with their favorite Christmas songs playing in the car. Let them bring their Cd's and go through Tim Hortons to get Hot Chocolate or Coffee. There may also be a bus tour that would take all of your out. Ohh you can buy these three d glasses that make the lights look like little stars, or make them say Merry Christmas. That would be fun!

I'm thinking that we all have enough gadgets, gaudy sweaters and sweatshirts, knicks knacks that are just going to end up in a garage sale one day, I'm in to buying consumables like steaks and roasts for meat eaters, nice baked items or fruit baskets for everyone. Try http://www.allenbrothers.com/ ir Omaha Steaks or Harry and David. Also early in Dec. (now) send them or take them a wreath or pointsettia. I'm also weary of gift certs but will use them for teens. It seems like more and more we sit around the tree and exchange plastic cards.

I tried giving to charities in the names of family members but it went over like a lead balloon so I'll just do it for myself now.

Books, candles, scarves and gloves...if they have hobbies get something related....I'm a mom and when my kids (who are grown, but on a budget) ask me I give them those types of ideas! Also, if you don't have alot to spend there are alot of "discount and coupons" websites...just type that into a search engine, it will give you alot of options!
