Tricky one. Not, I must admit, because Answers is that important to me, but because it raises this question...

Is he/she really the right bf/gf/partner for you if they use emotional blackmail to get you to stop doing something that's harmless and that you enjoy?

Woah, sorry, heavy answer man!

I would imagine that anyone who would ask you to do such a thing might be taken aback by the amount of time spent on Yahoo! Answers. They may have a point, however, if their point was not well taken I would gladly show them the blinking EXIT sign right over there>>>>>>>

If they have a time or connection to another person issue you might be wise to take it into consideration. For many people, the computer is an outlet for any number of things that may be going on in their lives. Again, you must balance the request with the truth of the circumstances. I've seen many relationships break up because of people spending too much time on the computer and not for the purpose of gathering information. For many, a light flirtation makes their day better, but flirtations sometimes escalate to something more. Be honest with yourself and put yourself in their shoes...then decide.

The Power Of Good-Bye, whew.

That would tell me they thought I spent too much time on here plus that they felt neglected. I would talk with her and do what I could to win her heart over and heal whatever loss she felt inside. I would ask her if I could go back to Y!A after I have proven my devotion to her and leave the time limit in her hands.

I'd dump him and go to Yahoo answers to celebrate with my people.

Don't let their tail hit the door on the way out.

its really a dumb reason to dump someone, unless your spending more time on here then with them. if the person means that much to you then you should leave.

We spend all of our time sending each other questions from here; it would end a beautiful relationship.
