BJP initiated the N-Deal.But, the way it has been given the final shape by Mr.M.Singh Govt. is debatable. That's precisely the reason why the LEFT also had opposed it initially without knowing the details of the Deal.
In any case, we need to ensure uninterrupted neuclear energy generating ability for meeting the deficiency we have in energy supply.Nearly 65% of the total import is Crude Oil.If we are to enter into contract with other countries for supplying electricity via other countries, India will become a country without basic necessities. Moreover, today there's no UNO(in real sense). It's better to allien with the US right now with an agreement of the kind (after lot of bargains) we had agreed upon mutually ultimately so that the Big powers or the IAEA don't obstruct our efforts to modernise our reactors and meet our fuel deficiency. We will be able to obtain such technologies by entering into agreement with Russia and other European Countries of our choice. The installation of Neuclear Reactors of latest generation with margin of safety has to be looked into.Nobody will treat India as a Rogue Country after the N-Deal is given final shape.
I believe we had to go for such a deal before it was too late.....don't forget , the presidential term of George Bush is going to be over soon.

This is called "Politicking". I do not want to go in detail onthe merits and demerits of the deal. Probably, if BJP was in power they too would have done the same thing and boast of doing a great thing for India as they did by conducting test as soon as they came to power and took credit for achieving great thing for which they did nothing. Therefore, do not believe any Political Party that they can do any good for the people or the nation. They will be interested to fill the pockets of the party and the leaders.

Thorium deposits are available in India. Indian scientists have the know-how to make thorium reactors. Thorium is not dangerous like uranium. USA does not want India to be self-sufficient in energy. It wants India to sign the deal so it will ALWAYS be dependent on the USA and its stooges. When BJP proposed the nuclear arrangement with USA, there was no Hyde Act nor the compulsion of the 123 agreement or no more nuclear tests stuff.

all and sundry is bi-polar one way or yet another. all of us have temper swings. call it bi-polar in case you like yet I see it as yet another conspiracy from pharmaceutical businesses to earn extra funds by using merchandising extra drugs to depressed human beings. If a guy or woman shows to many temper swings or "exchange in personalities" the excellent concern is to stay away. they may be risky to themselves and others. Edit: playstation One guy or woman at the back of many Avatars on Y/A may be an indication of unstability besides. pay attention.
