I like the Phoenix Suns chances this year. I think they have a great chance.

if you mean suns being the top team in the west in regular season, they have a big chance of getting there but if u mean winning the conference title,i guess its possible but very slim!remeber, spurs are doing great...

this is a fact that made me think for many times!phoenix is a very good team,in fact, they're one of the top teams in the whole league side by side spurs, mavs etc!in regular season, they have a fluid like offense (tnx to nash) and their defense is not that bad!but why is it always come post-season,suns never won a conference title?it's all because of the heart!the willingness to win the title, the hunger!these are the things that lacks from phoenix....

To me, if they play like what they did last night, and everyone stays healthy, they will be the team to beat, not San Antonio. I think getting Hill in the offseason was the best move the Suns could have made. Nash, who should be considered for MVP once again, hasn't had a 20 point 15 assist night, but the thing is, he don't need to. The Suns, to me, are the best team in the league right now. If I was the Suns right now, I would find someone interested in trading for Banks to get a younger point guard.

they haven't won a playoff series against the spurs since 2002 when duncan was sidelined with a knee injury. and since 2003, the suns has essentially remained the same (except for the nash-marbury trade). the spurs can play the uptempo game that the suns favor. but can the suns compete against the spurs if the champs forces this game to crawl down to a halt? history has told us that they can't. so unless they can manage to avoid the spurs throughout the playoffs, they won't win the championship.

Same as the last three years. They will be top dog, but San Antonio might be in the way. Hopefully some other team eliminates them before they face the suns. Any other the Suns can beat without much struggle.

I think it's the Suns or Nuggets or Spurs who will win the west

40% because I think the 3 Texas Teams (Mavs, Spurs, Rockets) and the Utah Jazz are playing really good and it will be very hard to get past all of those guys. But it's still possible.

No. they're gifted. yet they have struggled against the Laker with a healthy Bynum. impossible for them to beat the Laker with a healthy Bynum and Gasol over a chain. they could get warm for a game or 2 from the exterior, yet once you reside by the three you die by the three. not adequate in positioned up for them to win.

i love steve nash but i think they made a big mistake in letting kurt thomas go. they didnt do anything big to acquire any big men to help in the playoffs. "mr.glass" grant over the hill isnt gonna get you to the finals ...ahem nba champs san antonio spurs will win again.
