I might be going there on vacation. What are the people like and stuff?

Mountains and hicks. It is the worst place ever. It is only good if you are old and like beautiful green landscapes. The population is around 1,559, so if you hate people, live there.

I live in Vermont and have been all of my life. I love it here. And our population is not under 2, 000 it is more like 608,000 give or take a few. It is very pretty at all times of the year. I really like the summer and fall. I wouldn't recommend coming in the winter, if you are planing to go the mountains, unless you are coming to go skiing. There are many nice places to stay, depending on what you like to do. The people are pretty nice around where I live. If you have any other questions, let me know and maybe I can help.

Vermont is very pastoral, lots of farms and apple orchards. It's beautiful with all it's mountains and streams. Winter is pretty rough there, they get LOTS of snow..so everybody goes skiing there. BUT, if you aren't at a lodge they pretty much pull the sidewalks in after dark...and not much is going on.
The people are usually friendly and will answer questions or give you a name of good restaurant to eat in.
