A confident man won't ask for total submisiveness.
Usually one partner submits to the other, though.

I'm a Christian, and the Bible says for a woman to submit to her husband. He is the leader when push comes to shove.
BUT, it also says that the man must love the woman as Christ loved the church, which means he must put her interests above his own and pick what would be best for her and his family. He must be willing to die for her.
So as long as he's holding up his end, and asking things that are moral and understandable, I don't see why you would want to fight him.
I think what you are saying is a little extreme. There's a nice balance. You should be able to speak up when something he is doing is wrong. One will be the leader. Usually couples where the man is submissive annoy people, and the guy is seen as weak.
If he's not being a good leader, by any reasonable, moral law, you can disobey and fight against him. If he's forcing his body on you, you don't have to take that. He's not fulfilling his end of the bargain and treating you unkindly.
I don't agree that relationships should be 50/50, they should be 100/100.

If that is what the woman wants then there shouldn't be a problem. There are people who feel more comfortable in being totally submissive to their partner. Its just a matter of how those people feel and who they are with.
It shouldn't mean that the man/woman treats there partner with any less respect but unfortunatly sometimes that does happen

being totally submissive is like you're being a slave. so why would you? and why would you still be with a man who treats you like a whore instead of a wife? i mean...that's not the purpose of you two getting married in the first place, right? a healthy relationship is giving and sharing, whether it is with feelings, thoughts, or financial aid, anything...

Only if you are comfortable with that. Otherwise no. That's not what you signed up for when you got married. Unless this was what was going on prior to being married in your relationship. And what is your definition of a wife? Maybe it's time you both sat down and defined what your roles are in your marriage. No one else can do that, but it sounds like you are both overdue for a serious talk.

Nobody should be totally submissive to anyone else. A woman should be a peer and equal of her mates. They may role play at times but to act like a slave or someone not as good as them is a big mistake. Speak with your mate and let him know how you've been feeling and find out what he thinks. Personally I like a woman to have a good feeling of her self and her worth as this shows she is comfortable within her skin. Best of luck.

I think yes if he treats her well. If he does treat her well she would want to anyway it wouldn't be making her. She would want him to be her whore to. But just for each other.
But if he is a d... to her then no. I mean to a point yes because it is her husband but no don't let him make you feel like just a whore or treat you with disrespect.

If your speaking biblically then yes. BUT the submission you speak of might be different than what people think of when the word is used. This is a broad question, a specific circumstance would help me to understand what your really asking.

What, like those men who think that wives should be whipped for wrong doing. And who is it in this 'Marriage' that decides exactly what is right or wrong?
This sounds like a Middle Eastern set of beliefs to me?
No woman deserves to be treated like a whore.
Ever.

How the couple chooses to conduct their relationship is between those two.
As long as she is treated with Respect, and, as long as she has her self-respect then if she chooses to be submissive, so be it. Also, how they conduct their sex life is entirely up to them.
She wouldn't be the first woman to find that being treated with Disrespect is a deal breaker.
But that's entirely up to them.
