Certainly doesn't make any sense. But then it must be conceded that despite all the proclaimed freedom every country has its own
little secrets which if revealed would explode a lot of myths about its practises. No wonder some sage had said "It is easy to preach but
terribly difficult to practise".

Well the stupid media covers up everything and doesn't want us to know the truth...especially about the War...Sometimes they won't reveal stuff just because they don't think that they have enough evidence or that they aren't certain enough of the FBI for the media to release it and a lot of the media just lies to us and tells us a bunch of crap that I already know is not true..it gets on my nerves! Just like with the CHIPS that the Democrats are trying to overide Bush on...Which is a big mistake because they don't tell what will happen if they find a way to get past Bush to pass it...the truth is that Bush is very right about not wanting to pass it because if it gets passed then it will take money from the people who need it the most! And Bush does not want that to happen...The media lies because they can it is actually legal for them to! That's why there are so many Americans that don't know a damn thing and are so blind and brainwashed...They think Bush is stupid and doesn't know what he is doing but it is the exact opposite...there are so many things that he is trying to do for America but they overide a lot of it and won't let him do it...some people just don't understand that if we wouldn't have went to war and kept them from coming over here and killing more people than will ever get killed in this war because they are creating nuclear bombs and have wanted to destroy America and everything we stand for! And some people just don't understand that! They think that if we back out of the war everything will be ok and that we can just make peace with them...when the truth is...all they want to do is kill us...not be friends with us...we can't just set back and allow them to keep attacking our country and not fighting back...if we were to just sit there and not fight back we would be cowards! Most Americans don't even know a half of what's really going on and what could actually happen!

Operational Security is practiced everywhere in the world and lefties like your self are not entitled to know everything. The Freedom of information act is a good law and it works for the most part except if you are a liberal presidential candidate who hides the files from the archives for personal reasons or trying to obscure the role the Liberal president played in the growing terrorist threat. That is why you can't get a copy of the Path to 9/11. You can get an FOIA request to see Hoover's Files that prove that Joe McCarthy and HUAC House Un-American Activities Committee were spot on about communist infiltration of the Government. You can get redacted materiel also of more sensitive issues, but sources and methods are and will be removed It is up to you to know 1. What to ask for 2. Who to ask.

Freedom of information is limited. In some cases those limitations are proper but the Bush administration has simply ignored valid requests unless dragged into court.

The FBI has been collecting information on critics of the Bush administration and its policies. They have also been spying on Americans in general without court approval. It is a continuing fight to obtain that information.

Freedom of information only applies to those things that are not currently on going if it is a matter of security. There are some issues that will create danger for our troops and while we will have access to that information in he future it has to be held close for the time being.

Petition the FBI under the "Freedom of Information" act. You will be supplied with specific documents that are sanitized to protect on going investigations or private information on individuals.

At least try to understand the process before you claim that it doesn't exist.

What doesn't make sense is people who make claims without doing any research first.

It amounts to freedom of whatever information the government deigns to give us. If it concerns a crime family of which two members have been in the White House, those records may be sealed indefinitely.

It would be stupid and injurious to reveal ALL the secrets of any government agency.
Ever heard of national security?

That has to be one of the stupidest....oh well.

Do you also wonder why 'we americans' do not carry radar guns and set up speed traps to bust police officers?

By the way--the word is reveal.
