i've replaced existing defective hd in my desktop. cd drive now in inoperive condition. how can i install windows98 from installation cd?
where can i found start up floppy?

if you can manage to take out your HD and then copy the contens of the win98 installation cd on it, on a separate partition, then you can run installation without a cd drive

Then you might have to change your Boot Option in BIOS Setup, to Cdrom-First Boot Device, also.(After downloading Win98 Start-up disk, and installing).
