Unlikely. Although Janis wasn't one to NOT be taken to bed, Tom Jones was not her type. Also, he isn't even mentioned in passing in her biographies. And she never mentioned his name during the brief time I knew her, when she was with Big Brother and the Holding Company.

Not to my knowledge, but the guy that played Gomer Pile and Rock Hudson did. Janis was so stoned on drugs all the time, if she were still alive she probably couldn't answer your question.
