I was listening to one of those late night talk radio shows when the "interesting" people come out of hiding and call in.

The debate was the moon landing. The topic came up that maybe, the landing was real but all the footage we've seen was fake. Reason being, they saw something they didn't want ANYONE down here on Earth to see... EVER.

The Apollo program was WAY to big to fake. And America would never fake losing three guys on the ground and almost losing three guys in space (Apollo 1 fire and 13). I am a very strong opposition to those who say it was fake. But even I think that's possible.

There are many pictures that raise questions. And we know now that the American government isn't the most honest in the world, what do you think of this? What do you think is really up there that NASA decided to keep under the rug?

That is an interesting idea.... I just wonder, if they went to the Moon how come they haven't been back?

Seems like there ought to be time-share vacation condos up there by now. Hehe.

I don't know if there is anything out there, but I do think if there was we wouldn't know about it until something drastic happened, like an attack. Knowing there are aliens out there would scare the public, and the government wouldn't want the chaos it would create if there were no reason to worry.

I think the Apollo missions were real, as are the photographs and moon landing. The Apollo 1 fire was tragic, the men were trapped in a fire with 5 seconds of oxygen and a door that took 45 seconds to open. They never stood a chance.

The pictures could be so desolate they could not foresee life living on the moon ever. It could be so depressing that they feel mankind should never witness such a scene. There is much talk about life on other planets, and hopes would be crushed if there was some factor that completely ruled out there ever being life on other planets. Perhaps they ran into an alien society which did not want to be discovered by us. The could have been studying us, and they sent back pictures that people would believe but are not true. They may have the technology to alter the memories of those who were witness to the scene such that they would truly believe what they were expecting. It is a very ambiguous topic.

trust me my friend, we were on the moon. i saw that documentary that said we didn't go there... some of the pictures that were "doctored" weren't done so to fake the scene, but to make the picture clearer for the media...

there is another piece of footage of an astronaut dropping a weight and a feather, and they both hit the ground at the same time... if you've ever dropped a feather on earth, you know what happens, but on the moon, since there is basically no atmosphere. there is no place on earth in which you could do this...

maybe it was a fake feather, who knows... the people who swear up and down that we didn't go have no real evidence that we didn't, they only point to the fact that our gov't is run by a bunch of scumbags... and we are run by a bunch of scumbags, don't get me wrong.. but what exactly is accomplished by not going to the moon?

AND IF THE MOON WERE MADE OF CHEESE, THAN HOW COME THE FRENCH HAVE NO INTEREST IN GOING ?!?!

i for one sort of believe that it didnt happen. my dad thinks its some kind of teenage rebelion thing since im 14 and are the kid of a couple-a baby-boomers.

ive seen a lot of websites that deny the moon landing. and i believe it didnt happen, i mean, they have (1) the motive to fake such a thng (2) the resouces-hollywood? (3) look at some of the pictures and footage on websites, some of it just cant be explained without thinking of "did this really happen?"

apollo may have been real. moon landing may have not been.

who really knows?

we know that we can't count on our government
to always tell us the truth.

but what could they have seen up there that
they don't want us to see?

Evidence of an ancient civilization?
Evidence that an ancient civilization on
earth beat us there?

To say that we are the only intelligent life in existence
is rather egocentric. If life on another planets exist, they
wouldn't have to be too smart to surpass our human intelligence.

I believe the possibility exists ,and if so, you can bet our government is keeping that a closely guarded secret.

There's nothing there. Nothing is under the rug. Still photos can be misunderstood very easily, especially in an unusual environment such as limited G's and atmosphere.

I chalk that stuff up to toast that looks like Jesus.

I watched the first lunar landing live on TV. It looked good to me. Since then I've watched some shows that tend to disprove it was real. Really I have no idea. Your right about the lives lost-I do NOT believe those were sacrificed. I still feel it was real, do have my doubts. The shadows for one were wrong.

I wasn't alive when it happened, but I've seen footage from those moon landings. They looked real to me. I don't think that NASA faked any of it.

Probably the home base of Santa and the Easter Bunny.
Can you imagine the rush if everyone KNEW??
They don't have enough rockets to get everyone up there.
I support their need for secrecy.
After all even Santa needs his privacy.
All the work he does at this time of year?
Give 'em a break!
