Probably. But there are enough questionable decisions in his personal life that make him suspect as a candidate.

Probably too short to get corrupted by multimillion dollar lobbyists, like most of the other people in Congress.
Despite the poor Governors that come out of Illinois, Illinois does elect some pretty decent congressmen/women that have real concern for the people of America.

No, not at all. It's like Ron Paul said in the debate last week. "I went to Washington and it didn't change me...like the others".
This is a true statement. Washington lobbyists and the corruption changes these people who go there. At least the majority of them.
Obama hasn't been in Washington long enough, but I'm sure many Lobbyists as well as women have already approached him.

No, he has a pretty long record in state politics as well, his record is actually longer than Clinton's or Edwards on the Dem side, and longer than Thompson and Romney's on the GOP side

Why do you want a scandal, so that you can justify not voting for him?
If you are looking for a reason to not vote for him, then why don't you do like the rest of the white people in this forum and not vote for him simply because he is a African American.

I am sure that there are plenty of things awaiting him if he is in fact the Democratic nominee, once the dust settles and Edwards has finished knee capping everyone.

Nope. He got caught in a questionable real estate scam. He is short on experience, but not on scandal

Yep - and it's about to be cut even shorter when he doesn't get the nomination. And good riddance to him - I get the impression from his anti-US moves that he would work against the US anyways!

Obama's criminal behavior is cause enough to not vote for him, contrary to what some people believe using illegal drugs is criminal behavior, even if not prosecuted.
