It was all in fun...get over it...and you should probably forget about wearing her baby doll nighty again...
Have you never watched the "Newleywed game"? It is about telling it all....shouldn't be playing the game if you can't have a little fun with it...

Yes, your wife probably should not have mentioned this at the party. It was done in private and should have been held in private. Obviously she did not think there was anything wrong with what you did. She thought that telling others about it would add to the fun of he party. While she should not have told others about it, she obviously thought that you were being funny, and YOU NEED TO FORGIVE HER for what she did.
However, now the damage is done. You should be aware that most men wear some woman's clothes at some time in their life. You're friends should also be aware that your were have some fun with your wife in private. I suspect that the teasing will die down in about a week. Just ignore their teasing for now.
If you notice one person continuing to bring the issue up, then it is okay for you to tease that person back.. If its a woman say, "you act like you would love your husband to do that." Or if its a man say, "why are you so fascinated with crossdressing."

James don't be so embarrassed by your wife's honesty. She was having fun and if you did such a thing then what's the big deal. I bet that some of them other woman went straight home and asked their partners to do the same for them. Relax, soon enough it will be forgotten and someone else will tell of something more embarrassing and then your tale will be long forgotten. Your lucky to have such a fun wife.

I think it was mean, but I wouldn't play the Newlywed Game. Some things are meant to keep private.

I am sure you will get teased a little more, but it's all in fun. I think everyone would think you just did it as a joke to make your wife laugh. I wouldn't worry about it too much...I am sure others have done more embarrassing things.

I read this twice. The way you layer longer story-related prose is admirable, and something I have much trouble with. You make it seem effortless, natural, but all of us who write know the opposite is true. I often measure the effectiveness of a piece by the number of TD's........Jealousy rears it's green head. Kudos to you, Mr Carney.

Don't worry about it. All our family and most of our friends know I have more dresses than my wife. I don't get teased about it in fact one or two of the ladies would like me to go and do their housework

She should not have said anything. It was in mean spirit, she knew that an average man would be teased for something like that.
I'd go to your wife and ask if she could please not tell your private life secrets anymore....you felt uncomfortable by her announcement and was heckled the whole night because of it. Tell her to next time please treat you like she'd like to be treated and understand that some privacy has to be respected.
Good luck

That's the type of thing the newlywed game was famous for. You don't want your secrets out there, then don't attend the party. I think she was totally right for doing it.

I think it was something private between you and your wife and she should not have said it.
But since it was said just hope they will forget but try to laugh and take it as a joke and that it was part of your sense of humor..
Good luck!
