Police have said that contrary to earlier reports, the phone lines were not cut. One or more of the suspects reportedly did know Sean. Maybe they did intend to only burglarize the home, but burglars usually don't carry guns and bust into bedrooms shooting. There are still some questions that need answering. Regardless of their intent, carrying a gun during the commission of a crime shows intent that they intended to shoot anyone that got in their way. Their sentence should be that same as 1st degree murder.

I believe it was intentional no Burglar goes and breaks into a house making all this noise and break into the bedroom and shoots someone. A burglar will be as sneaky as possible and try and get as much as he can quietly if he makes a noise he is out of there fast. R.I.P Sean Taylor

I think he had to be targeted in order to be shot. They said they didn't mean to kill him. What do you think happens when you point a gun at someone and pull the trigger. Also, the fact that the phone lines were cut points to some other motive than just burglary

he wasn't ..hunted down and targeted

nor did he get shot in his bedroom but in a Florida room patio enclosure..according to the press today

considering one has a prior for gun issues and was caught with a serial number scraped off the gun..they probably had no problem aiming and killing anyone..and was something they would do as a reflex pre-meditated or not

he was unexpectedly home and killed when his grasscutter and three maggots with multiple convictions
were suprised by him when they went to rob his home...

amazing what people here submit from their rectums

From the news report I saw, the invaders knew someone in his family. They might not have planned to rob the house when he was home, but they were armed and knew of a lot of the items that are worth money.

i think his house and things were targeted.. but he personally as far as them trying to kill him.. no he wasnt .. because if they really went there thinking taylor was there and they wanted to kill him .. they wouldnt have shot him in the leg.. if all that time didnt pass before he got help.. he would probably still be alive.. they didnt intentionally kill him.. if they wanted to they would have shot him in the chest or something.

Of course i think he was targeted. They was after something in his house and shot him. They knew whos house it was and who knows why they did it. Its such a tragedy that this had to happen to such a great player and a guy that changed his life around for himself, his family and his team.

isn't it odd that the news reports are saying the guys who broke in didn't intend on killing anyone? they broke in and were carrying a gun. what were they going to do with the gun... pistol whip him?
