Frank Zamboni invented the ice resurfacer in 1950. It actually shaves the ice. Often hot water (60 degree C) is sprayed to obtain a soother surface. The water is used with a squeegee to smooth the ice.

Joe: You lie, you just are too lazy to google it. ;)

PuckDat: When I win the lottery, you come work for me, I will make you the Zamboni driver. You know the ladies love a man that have some sweet wheels.

Frank Zamboni invented the Zamboni in 1949. Only 7 NHL teams use Zambonis, the rest use ice resurfacers made by various manufacturers, and while everybody calls them all Zambonis, the Zamboni company has spent the better part of the last 30 years suing everybody over the name.

I just wanna drive the Zamboni.

They should take it as flattery people use their name. People say Coke for cola and Klennex for tissue and Xerox for photocopying because they are recognized as the originators or leaders.

Oops, sorry. Got carried away.

But seriously, can I have the keys to the Zamboni?

The only stupid question is the question you never ask.

JOE - You like that? I gotta a million of 'em.

CHRIS - Ya, maybe all these loses are getting to my head.
