There are many people who get melancholic during Xmas holidays. Nothing special, but they feel relieved when this period is through. Are you on of them?

Yes I am. Especially on Christmas Eve, when it's all quiet in the house. Just me sitting by myself, looking at the Christmas tree all decorated, thinking of past Christmases with family members that are no longer around. Great memories, but sad at the same time.

No and yes. No for the majority though. I have lots of family whom I spend Christmas with and I always have a great christmas. The only blues I get is not having a partner, but it doesn't get me down to the extent I want christmas over with, it just makes me think hmm having a boyfriend would be pretty good right now!

Actually i feel very happy during Christmas:-)
Specially if i am with the ones that i love.
Last year i had the blues because i had to pass the Christmas with some people that make me nervous. When i got back home i was the happiest of the world.
This year i will pass with the ones i love so i feel happy.

I'm always glad when Christmas is over. I have 22 people to buy gifts for. I try to get done by Thanksgiving, and I did this year.
To me, it feels like the holiday should be over with already.
And I care more about the religious aspect of it anyway.

Christmas used to be one of my favorite holidays. It was my Grandaddy's birthday and we always made a big deal of Christmas and Birthdays. I'm just not feeling the season, nor my birthday anymore. They both sucked horribly the past few years and I guess I am just I finally caving into everyone else's apathy.

Usually not....except for last year when on X-mas eve I went to the supermarket and a car crashed into mine. Not only was my car a wreck, it took forever to sort that mess out with the cops as that idiot actually crashed 2 more cars - all in one go -, my X-mas dinner was ruined and so was my appetite! And it took over a month to repair my car!

money is always an issue with lots of people, and christmas time is just a reminder of how poor some people are.
as for me, i get depressed because i can never afford nice presents and money for some reason is always sooo tight around this season it just drives me crazy! so i get the christmas blues too.

I hate Christmas. I get very depressed, very lonely and last year, even suicidal. I can't wait for Boxing day.
