What about that 5% of cases that go unaccounted for, and are unexplained, what about that fraction of phenomena?... It's not PROOF that they exist, but certainly, in the least, is should stir some doubt? That small percentage is always conveniently being forgotten about, when close-minded people are quick to reject the notion of UFOs...
The same thing, with the paranormal...
Are some people just afraid of the possibility?
( I know I'm going to be ridiculed for this question... )

i think some people are afraid of the possibility of other life forms/UFOs/USOs (Unidentified Submerged Object). I think they aren't accepted because they are the minority and many things go by majority rule. Sometimes though, the people who claim to see the UFOs ruin it for themselves by acting crazy i.e. dressing up like a supposed alien, being the town crazy guy, and sometimes aren't the most credible person to start out with. and they don't have physical evidence, just video cameras and anecdotes.

Yes, I think they're ridiculed too much. If you don't believe them, that's fine, but whatever you say probably isn't going to change their minds. And who knows? Your not all knowing, maybe they did see a UFO, who are you to judge. And let's Say that they're lying outright. They obviously have a mental illness or some serious issues, so why ridicule them about this when they are probably ridiculed about almost everything?

I believe they exist. But if I ever saw one I don`t think I would talk about it for just that reason.

could be because only a small percentage have seen them in person.... you have to see it with your own eyes to believe.. pictures cannot prove it..
crop circles freak me out lol

It's not so much being ridiculed ....They look at you lile your craxy==&==think you are...........But what's really crazy is.......... to think we're the only " Intellegent beings " in the Universe
