Limewire is free, and you shouldn't get a virus if you install it. You have to watch out when downloading things that a virus isn't in the file you are downloading.

Yes, viruses are free! LOL!
As mentioned you pretty safe. Most of these type programs use Checksums (For example) for files to insure you not get a corrupted file or virus. I not say it 100% safe, but, what is on the Inet?
