The word love has come to denote only close and intimate physical relations among people. In the common mind this word no longer bears the meanings of devotional love in most elevated and personal sense of commitment and sacrifice, or longing for someone for life. When people mention love in general they normally imply sexual relations, whereas love as love among family members comes secondary, and that after a certain age and time in togetherness. Traditional concept of love safeguarded by strong sense of virtue and faith has lost its valid ground in the modern, especially western societies, where the rest of the world might follow in time. If human spirit is able to reinstate its sense of excellence through advanced understanding of religion or some discipline of that grandeur in its calling then their might be a renaissance of love the world over.
