NO we haven't and the stifling of free speech just leads to resentment in the population concerned and more things are said behind closed doors which is actually more dangerous than out in the open!

Yes it is still there but what is lost is the respect for others views on that principal.
You can say pretty much what you want but unfortunately there are those out there who are too narrow minded to respect your right to disagree with them and are far too sensitive and easily offended.
I always remember the phrase

" I may disagree with what you say but I will defend with my life your right to say it"

This is what has been eroded not the right to free speech.

Must have a little bit because otherwise this question would have been reported but this is a majority case - I don't think we have freedom of speech now or atleast if any it is very little.

You're absolutley free to say whatever you like. You just need to be aware that there are potential consequences, dependant on what you say, i.e. if its racist, derogatory, etc.

There is no law denying anyone the right to free speech or expression. The law only comes into play if you happen to be a pillock about how you use your words!!

No! You cant even demonstrate outside the house of commons anymore, I think theres something like no unauthorised demonstrations within a certain radius of there incase it causes offence. But then again it seems like us Brits cant say anything anywhere nowadays without causing someone somewhere offence.

The simple answer to this question is No.
I don't agree with all of this PC crap, I have always said what I thought and refuse to be told what I can or cannot say about anything. So be it.

No we don't... we don't have freedom of expression either.

Did you know you can be fined £80 for using explicit swear words in public. You can also be fined £80 for wearing a T-shirt in public that has an explicit swear word on it.

That isn't exactly freedom is it.....
