Contacts or Glasses?

I had contacts for a while in early college years. I have very tight eyelids and determined efforts by eye doctors could not get the lenses to center over my pupil and so I caught light scatter from the edge of the lens, making it hard to see at night or in a gym with bright overhead lights.
I have not looked at further choices since then because when I look in the mirror, without glasses I think I look like a linebacker and with my choice of glasses, I think I look smarter and more competant.
Both are a nuisance but in different ways.

Contacts
Pros: You don't have to worry about breaking your glasses, and contacts look a lot better
Cons: They are very annoying & irritating to the eye before you get used to them. You can also lose them very easily

Glasses:
Pros: You don't have to take too much time putting them on, unlike contacts. They're harder to lose than contacts.
Cons: Glasses leave imprints on your face, they're easy to break, and people often tease the person with glasses.

Honestly, I would rather wear contacts.

Contacts, I hate wearing my glasses. But my husband is always insisting I wear my glasses. He says I look better in them.

I wear contacts most of the time but have a spare pair of glasses when I want to wear those instead.

I have glasses but I never tried contact so I can not truly say.
