It seems like they're bringing back the same players, which means they're only going to make the same mistakes. Isn't it time the Yankee cuts its losses and maybe starts rebuilding their farm team so they can have a presentable team in the near future?

It's not the same team as last year. Joba will be a starter and there will probably be some additions or changes. Yes, it may be basically the same people, but then they could learn from the mistakes they had committed last year. I look forward to seeing how the Yankees do this year and I'll stick by their side at even the worst times. The Yankees don't even have that many losses compared to so many of the teams. They had one of the best records last year. The Red Sox and the Indians were tied for the best record in baseball and the Angels and the Yankees were tied for the second best record winning 94 games and losing 68. Also, I'm not about winning the World Series every year. It's not the victory that counts, but the magnificence of the journey.

Your precise, the Yankees maximum in all likelihood wont win their branch (which will maximum in all likelihood flow to the pink Sox lower back). however the Yankees do have a small threat for the wildcard spot interior the AL. AL EAST (a million) Boston pink Sox (2) Yankees AL mandatory (a million) Detroit (2) Cleveland AL WEST (a million) l. a. Angels of Anaheim (2)Seattle AL WILDCARD (a million) Indians (2)Yankees NL EAST (a million) new york Mets (2) Phillies NL mandatory (a million) Chicago Cubs (2) Brewers NL WEST (a million) l. a. Dodgers (2) Arizona Diamondback This branch can flow the two way, a good race between the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks...The Rockies won't repeat NL WILDCARD (a million) Phillies (2) Arizona (or the Dodgers if Arizona takes the branch)

Well it depends on the type of fan the person is. If they are the type of Yankees fan that expects to win every year then they will most likely be disappointed. But if they are a knowledgeable fan who expects their team to compete and do good enough then no they won't be all that disappointed. But they most likely won't win the World Series again next year. No matter how much talent a team has you still have to go out and play the games.

Wouldn't that be nice. Yankee fans don't know what losing is. The Yankees have never lost 119 games in a season.

The Yankees had the best batting lineup in the majors, having led in batting average, RBIs, and runs last year. With a few key pitching additions, they will again dominate. And to suggest that they are not presentable now is laughable, considering they did have one of the best records in baseball. They just need improved pitching to better compete in the post season. I do not expect to be disappointed at all in 2008.

No, if we get johan, the yankees will be better than boston. the yankees have a good mix of veterans and young players. people still forget that we came within 2 games of the Al East. I f the yankees have a good start and stay consistent through the season, the yanks will be champions.

Those Yankees fans that believe the Yankees should win every year are going to be disappointed more times than they are happy. Those fans that realize you can't win every year but expect the Yankees to field a competitive team every year will not be disappointed in 2008.

I agree with Yankee Fan. If you're a fan of any team you're going to support them no matter what. I will always have hope that they will do good.
