Since 1 lb = 16 oz, you have 10 lb + 1 lb + 12 oz
= 11 lb 12 oz.

Firstly do you want the answer in ozs, lbs or in a fraction?

I lb is equal to 16 ozs, so 28 ozs divided by 16 =1 and 3/4 lbs.

10+1.75= 11.75 lbs.

Depends on what "simplify" means.

It's either 11 lb, 12oz (as said above), or

Since 12oz = 75% of 16oz, then 11.75 lb, or

(11 x 16) + 12 = 188oz
