On the top of your IE browser, click

Tools ---> Internet Options ---> (Under browsing history) Delete ---> Delete All.

Should take a while depending on how much you use your internet.

it's very easy to clear out the address bar entries and the browser history. With Internet Explorer, click on Tools -> Internet Options and then whack the Clear History button. Firefox users, click on Tools -> Options, click on Privacy, then hit the Clear button next to History.

though you erase this yet somethings will be stored in harddrive like browser cache, cookies and saved form data
Firefox has a handy Clear All button on that Privacy page which will clear everything that your browser may store while you're browsing. If you want to clear these items selectively, there are individual Clear buttons for each.

in the internet explorer Go back to Tools -> Internet Options, and then press the Delete Cookies and Delete Files buttons. Now click on the Content tab, and hit both the Clear Forms and Clear Passwords buttons.

In IE7, click Tools and the "Internet Options". Select the "General" tab. Under "Browsing History", first click "Delete", and then click "Settings". At the bottom of the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" window, Under "History", you can set the number of days you wish to keep your "Browsing History".

For Firefox, click Tools and then Options. In the Options window, click "Privacy". Remove the check from "Remember visited pages for the last".

Hope this is what you are looking for.

Or you do it by Right clicking on your "C:\" drive icon and select> properties>select Disk CleanUp>in the options shown will be the size or space in MB of files that can be deleted.>Select "Temprory Internet Files" & click view files;then select all the ones you don't want and delete them.
Sometimes these are stored in Downloaded files,so go to C:\Windows\Downloaded IE Files\delete any Class or Verisign root class you dont need. However some are NOT to be deleted like the ones for Flash application,Y!toolbar etc.
