LIKE A FEATHER

LIKE A FEATHER,
FLUTTERING ADRIFT NOWHERE.
LIKE A FEATHER,
DROWNING FLIGHT MAY END ANYWHERE…

LIKE A FEATHER,
LOVELY IT SEEMS TO BE;
LIFE SPENT SO FREELY,
IN ABSENCE OF SECURITY.

SMOOTH ON ITS SURFACE,
ROUGH ON ITS SURVIVAL;
A FEATHER-LIKE PALACE,
IN AMBIVALENT CARNIVAL.

AS CUPID GOES ON AND ON,
TWO HEARTS SETS AFIRE;
A FEATHER-LIKE BOND,
EMBROIDERED BY DESIRE.

LIKE A FEATHER,
DROWNING FLIGHT ENDS EVERYWHERE…
BUT UNLIKE A FEATHER,
CRASH-LANDING LEAVES US NOWHERE!!!

it is from a fowl it is black. There are lots to make certain on between, however the super ones are all corvids - or in different words, the crow family contributors. undergo in thoughts that this is composed of ravens, and that they are extensive. hence, ravens have massive black feathers. London is the main well-liked domicile of ravens in the international (exterior of the writings of Edgar Allen Poe), so it is totally unsurprising which you would be able to desire to discover a "long black feather" on the path for the duration of a dogs walk. i could upload that fairly some birds have white feathers, so seeing a type of glide in in the path of the door is unremarkable too. you could settle for that it is the case with no need to desert your ideals. it is purely lots extra probable that this actual black feather is purely a feather that fell off a brilliant black fowl.

This is interesting Moonbelle. I went outside today, the walk adrift with snow, I looked down and found two feathers crossing each other. Did you visit me late last night?

There you stood on the edge of your feather
Expecting to fly
Well, I laughed, I wondered whether
I should wave goodbye
