I'd go forward to the point right before the space time continuum curves back onto itself and I can experience both the end and beginning of all time in one trip!

I would have to go forward to a time where they had invented time machines. That way I could get one and send it back to myself, otherwise I wouldnt have a time machine.
Then again, this could create an oroborus situation, as I would have to continually go to the future to get time machines to send back to myself, otherwise the time machine might dissappear, and leave me stranded in a bad time.
You know what.....keep you time machine!

Time machine? It is to be invented yet. And as to go forward or reverse in the machine, you simply imagine yourself driving a car.

Back, because certain things about the past are very romantic, and not forward because this planet's future doesn't seem very bright.
