You might like to pause a little and capture a glimpse of beauty reflecting on smooth and serene watery mirrors of some pristine lack by a mountainside, a ripple or two might tickle you imagination, a passing breeze may touch your face ever so more gently to remind you of someone, and a softly fluttering little bird in the canopy near by may still startle your senses, you might stand there quiet and lost in time but all present in a gentle and warming sense of your being this spectacle in view.

Music is to spirit as dance is to movement, as song is to speech, or as beauty is to facts when arranged for the purpose of their truth. Music in its essence all about harmony of mind and heart; human spirit resides where both mind and heart come together like two wings of a bird. When we hear sweet and majestic symphonies of great composers we remind ourselves about the promises of unseen and unheard distant lands, our spirit then, like an enchanted bird, follow those promises into magical worlds of imagination; when we hear great folk songs we feel that our relation of our land and culture is being strengthened, we feel at home. And then when we hear songs of passion and deep love their pathos and longing enable us to sense life in the heart of our hearts.

I believe while language is unrivalled in its ability to convey the facts, there is a point at which it fails. At this point, other facilities need to step in. At an individual level, we have touch, and body language. At the social level, we have music. Language and music then, may well have developed together, not entirely independently.
