How focused was Michigan's desire for Miles for them to talk to his first and so early, imo. It's clear he was their #1 candidate all along. I assume he'll bring his remaining assistant coaches with him. Who will Miles get for his defensive coordinator, now that Pellini took the Neb job?

My assumption of his assistants joining him might be erroneous. Apologies. Who might be the next Off Coord as well?

State,

You're right. Sounded like I'm asking all the oracles out there. Heh heh. I guess I'm asking of people have heard anything online, on tv, on radio.

I would laugh at StofWoo's answer, but I'm afraid that he is actually serious. Doesn't take an IQ over 80 to understand that assistant coaches are working to be head coaches at good schools. It's not that he is leaving LSU, it is that he is getting a head coach position at a major university with a good football history. Good career move. His tenure and success at LSU probably got him that position.

Most head coaches' dream is to coach at their alma mater. Once again, not that Miles wants to leave LSU, but he is getting the once chance to coach at his alma mater.

A little knowledge can cure a lot of ignorance. You should try it.

i'm no longer attentive to the reality that Les Miles has expressed an pastime in taking the Michigan activity. you would be able to attempt to examine between the lines. on the different hand, i could choose that the Michigan head education activity be open to the excellent candidate attainable, no longer purely to "Michigan adult men". notwithstanding, if I had to make certain on between Les Miles and city Cryer, i could take Les Miles. He does have that hearth in him.

Bo Pelini will coach Neb and LSU will hire Steve Spurrier from South Carolina

I don't know how to speculate on Assistants. All I know is Les Miles going to MIchigan is 99% certain. LSU is so great that everybody is leaving! they must not be able to handle "great" programs

I've heard ESPN say that its gonna be the def. coordinator from GA Tech that Miles takes with him.

I'm still hoping that ESPN has its sources wrong and that Miles really isn't leaving LSU... =(
