And after the excitement of the exhaust note wears away. Really that car around town won't get all that great milage. Get out on the open road and use the speed control in high gear that is where you will get 25+ MPG

Yes, it will get better. Engines have to be broken in, you will get better gas mileage after a few hundred more miles.
