Good question; I've been waiting for it to plan to go to Dodgers spring training in Vero Beach. In fact that's probably what is holding it up. MLB is negotiating with China to have the Dodgers and Padres play March 15 and 16 in Bejing at the Olympic baseball venue. The only things that have been announced for sure is that the Dodgers are playing the Red Sox in 3 games March 28-30, with the 29th at the L.A. Coliseum and the Red Sox and A's are going to open the regular season in Tokyo March 20 and 21 or 19 and 20 (I don't remember), then the Red Sox come back and play the Dodgers in spring training games.

So probably those international games are what is holding things up. After the Dodgers play the Padres in Bejing, the Dodgers are going to Taiwan March 18 and 19 to play against some Taiwanese teams.
