There are these little people that sneak up behind you and cause the hic-cups, you can`t catch them as they are too fast to see. I hope this detailed scientific expose helps you understand the world around you..LOL

This due to the food that was taken inside to windpipe. The diaprhagm contracts to produce air to push out the food that was taken inside the windpipe and that causes hiccups...
