Can a 24 hour eviction notice be posted by a sheriff on weekends or holidays?

Yep. If it is signed by a judge, you better do what they say or the sheriff will escort you out of there.

Most eviction notices have a 30 day period of grace. If that time limit ends on a weekend, the notice can be posted and enforced.

Yes, they can be served on weekends and holidays. Weekends and Holidays are the best time to serve papers because most people will be home.
