While traveling by a local bus in Calcutta, I saw a disgusting scene. When it stopped at a crossing, some boys came to sell flowers at throw away prices and some ladies started purchasing them to ornate themselves. On inquiry if there was a garden nearby, I was stunned when told that there is Cenotaph closely and the flowers have been picked from the wreaths.
