I remember my high school reunion too. I even discover the swapping of boyfriends and girlfriends really did happen, married to each other and now separated. Our friendly former beauty queen and valedictorian suffer a kidney problem and need dialysis 2 times a week. And now she hates seeing all her classmates. Our principals' pet (because they caught on doing some "over the bakod" thing) happily married now, successful on their business and career as police enforcer...
The future were so bright for them...

It hasn't been that long since I graduated from HS (less than 10 years ago) and we're really pretty close (via Internet and/or travelling together)...and we even hold yearly reunions for US-based classmates. Thus far no big surprises! It's like we never left high school - the same giggling teeners swooning over butts that never seem to quit. hahaha
I do attend UP Alumni gatherings too but it's not as much fun as the HS events...for one thing, the UP affairs are attended by all batches so there's more strangers (lots of old pogis) there than people I really know.

then they have a "collection" of ex-gfs now.
my classmates are still talkative though the topics are mostly about the past or college life.

My former HS classmate beat Pacman last elections. I was happy for her.
I have a lot of former HS classmates who were into politics but i never heard about their being into politics before the reunion.

I discovered that it is hard to attend reunions when you're abroad. Even harder, if you're at home - and everyone's gone abroad.
