Cause long lost first love is always a warm memory wrapped in all the good things you believed was there. Until you remember why you parted, all the bad things she will always be on your mind. I mean you could look her up and maybe that would help, she might happily married and then you can move on knowing you werent' the one after all.

She probably isnt in the same state of mind. Without revealing more I cant really say, like did you break up? or did one of you have to move while you still loved each other, and then you just sortve didnt talk anymore?
Maybe track her down and talk to her? It might resolve some feelings. I for one, the first girl I liked when I asked her out told me to 'F*!# OFF!', so now it is extremely awkward. I could easily imagine it would be opposite (really in love with her) if she said yes.
Btw, you are one of the last few true romantics! :)

You're not alone. I have a love from my past (30+ years ago) that I feel the same way about. Do you know where she is? If neither of you are married, contact her. You never know where it might lead!

You'll never know does she feels the same if you don't ask. Do something.. or you'll be wondering forever :/

I too had a love (the greatest love of all),,the one who I really wanted. It pains me today that our love never 'lasted'.
Even tho it was a strong love,,it was not a healthy love,,,for he hurt me with his lack of trust in me and misconstruing facts.
I found another man,,,the love I feel for him is not as strong,,,but is a healthier love for me.
Good luck,,,I really mean that!

That girl was also loving you or it is one sided one. Are you married now and having a family. Then forget her.
