i just like the traditional buttermilk pancakes the most and nothing special on them but syrup.

There is a restaurant not far from here called The Original Pancake House ( not IHOP ) and they make two that I really like:
49er pancake, large but very thin made with lots of extra egg in the batch to make them "chewy and gooey" but they are delicious; also
Sourdough Flapjacks, made with real sourdough and dusted with powdered sugar, mmmmm
both are really good and I get by there 5 or 6 times a year to treat myself.

I just love baked apple pancakes, they rise like a cake. I also enjoy baked pancake omelets
