i live in barbados on the east coast, and never in my life i have seen the atlantic ocean on the east coast of barbados calm until now, we had an earthquake 2 days ago and since then the ocean was calm, what does this mean?

The ocean is a big, big thing. It might react initially to an earthquake (tsunami, etc) but it isn't going to be choppy for days. The ocean is more affected by weather and climate patterns than Earthquakes.
