Yes but never again. It DOES mess your head up long term - don't let anyone kid you.

I haven't smoked Marijuana and never will. I think however, that it is less dangerous than smoking as Marijuana doesn't kill on the inside, and it's just used for a buzz.
Marijuana is bad too, but not to a point where it needs to be legal.
There's other solutions to cure whatever you have then to use that stuff.

Don't listen to any of the previous responses [no offense] Here's why. If you get used to a substance, you will develop some level of desire for it. That doesn't make the substance good, it just means you're hooked. Most smokers, even though they are hooked, will advise against starting up if you ask them.
As to the legality issue. Whether it's crap [in your opinion] or not should have nothing to do with its legality. In America, we are supposed to have freedom to do basically whatever we please. We don't need the government telling us what to put into our own bodies. This cannot be"The Land of The Free and The Home of the Brave," if we have all of our decisions made for us. A free and brave person will make the right choice all by themselves.
In other words, you'll have to decide on your own.
Tuck this GAME deep into your mind. In the crevices...

Once. Several years ago, to satisfy a curiosity. If it wasn't at the end of a night of drinking i doubt i would have even done that.
As for my thoughts? They don't call it dope for nothing. I have friends who smoke it all the time. It stinks, and that's all they ever do. If they're not smoking it, they're talking about smoking it. BORING! They wonder why they can't have all the things they want and dream of, yet the thought of getting off their asses, getting a job, and working for it doesn't occur to them. I don't spend much time there anymore. I highly doubt that legalisation would help either. It would just make it cheaper and easier to afford, making the problem worse.

It's always amazing to see the amount of Reefer Madness still going around these days. I smoke weed just like anybody else would unwind with a cocktail during happy-hour. I'm very successful in my career, I maintain my relationships with my family and friends, and I travel a lot. To say that marijuana is going to ruin your life or that it's a "dangerous drug" is blatantly wrong.
People that fail do so on their own, it's just the American way to blame anything but yourself I guess...

Yes, I have...
It should be legal, for people you know, 21 and over.
I mean.... the only difference between tobacco and
marijuana is that the government benefits, and when I
say "benefits", I mean gains money; from cigarettes.
They gain money from the taxes on each pack. But
the only person who gets $$ from marijuana is the
actual dealer. That's why the government says, "Anything
we don't get money off of, is illegal! .... Hey, pass
the whiskey George...."

it's a known fact that marijuana is a gateway drug which can lead to the use of cocaine, heroine and other drugs. Just stay away. It's not fun when you'll be in jail with criminals and you lost a new job opportunity because your jail record prevented it.

Tried it a long time ago (in high school) only because my friends were doing it (good old peer pressure). I didn't like it and didn't do it again even though my friends ridiculed me (because I was "so straight"). I have nothing against it, but it just wasn't something I liked.

Wastes a lot of time.
Makes you under-achieve in work and/or study.
Can induce anxiety and paranoia.
Makes you think (mistakenly) that you're thinking world-shaking thoughts. The opposite of alcohol that makes you think (mistakenly) that you're speaking world-shaking words.
Could get you in trouble with the law.
Not worth it.
However some interesting literature has been produced under its influence, including e.g. Coleridge, Baudelaire, de Quincy, Sartre.
I'm in favor of its legalization btw, as I think criminalization does more harm than good.
