No, I'm tired of seeing minority groups get special treatment while I, a supposedly mainstream white, get none.

It's not like airlines offer travel discounts to couples, people with children, seniors, religious groups and yes, even single straight people. So why would gays be any different? Airlines and other business offer discounts to people whose business they want. Gays have disposable income and as has been made clear by some of the answerers on here are shunned for some dumb reason by bigots. Smart business will take the money and cater to them. It's called marketing. And it's made some people rich. You should try it.

I haven't heard about this, but I don't see how this works. How do you prove that your gay? And if you don't have to prove it, then what stops anyone from saying they're gay to get a 10% discount? Hell, if they just take my word for it, I'd lie and say I'm gay for the discount, it's not like I'm going to see any of these people again.

No. That is discrimination. Gays would probably think it was a good idea, but how would someone be able to even prove they were gay?

Why should homosexuals get special treatment over everyone else? My answer is not gay bashing, Gays are people who have sexual preferences different from the majority. It doesn't give them more or less rights than any other person on this planet.

this would be discriminating against the heterosexuals. Besides, how do you prove wheter you are gay or not? I mean, anybody can go and say "i'm gay, gimme a discount."

it's a farily stupid thing to do in my opinion.

and what the heck does sexual orientation have to do with using an airline service???

Why would any company offer a discount to anyone based on there sexual orientation? A person is a person regardless of there race, religion or sex. Everyone gets treated fair and square.

Yes. Travel agencies and airlines offer travel discounts to lots of groups and individuals. Usually, it's done to attract their business. It's seems odd that people are driven nuts by the idea that gays have anything. They cannot have marriage or benefits. And now people what to take away their travel discounts? One wonders when and where the blind hatred will end. Death camps?
