She has to take it every single day at the same time, whether you guys have sex or not. And she should start the pill well before the wedding day, for it to be effective.
You should be discussing this with a doctor/gynecologist, not the Adolescent section of Yahoo Answers. If you guys don't follow the instructions exactly, she will get pregnant, and you will have only wasted your money on the pills.

She can take it either in the morning or at night, but it's VERY important that she takes it at the same time EVERY DAY.
She needs to be on the pill for at least 10 days before the two of you have unprotected sex, to be safe you should probably wait 2 weeks.

The pill works by changing her chemistry so that she doesn't ovulate. Women usually ovulate every 28 days or so, and so it is best for her to be on the pill for at least that long before you can rely on it as birth control. In the meantime, use condoms.

Actually it is advisable to take after the last period or other pill take at the first day of monthly period. Usually it take in the evening and if possible take everynight with the same time. But if i were you it is much better to consult an ob-gyne.

birth control takes atleast a month to be effective...she can have spotting...break out bleeding...very annoying...they say that after three months her period should regulate. i recommend using a condom for the first three months until her period does regulate to prevent pregnacy. i also recommend taking it before bed because for me...personally it makes me have nausea. also with birth control she may feel pregnant like symtoms for alittle bit when her period is approaching. always ask her obgyn what would be best.

At least a month, two is safer. It is best to go through at least one menstrual cycle. The body can also take a few cycles to 'synchronise' with the oestrogen levels.
